Grout plant for tunnel lining

This integrated grouting plant is specifically designed for shield/TBM tunnel segment lining. It combines a high-speed grouting tank, a grout storage and mixing tank, and a high-pressure grouting pump into one unit. During tunnel excavation, it prepares cement/bentonite grout to fill the annular gap (annular gap) between the lining segments and the surrounding rock.

Today, our factory shipped a grout plant equipped with a flow meter. It’s a compact, integrated grouting unit that combines mixing, storage, and pumping into one system, capable of stably delivering grout under controlled pressure. The customer primarily uses it for tunnel lining grouting projects. The main materials are cement grout, bentonite, or high-density grout, depending on geological conditions. The grouting strategy (simultaneous grouting or secondary grouting) depends on the construction method (tunnel boring machine or drill-and-blast method).

The compact grout plant consists of the following components:
1. High-shear colloidal mixer: High-shear vortex mixing quickly blends cement, bentonite, and water into a homogeneous, segregation-free grout (300L);
2. Agitator tank: Continuously agitates and stores the grout at low speed to prevent sedimentation and stratification, ensuring continuous grouting (300L volume);
3. Hydraulic grout pump: Adjustable pressure and displacement pump delivers grout to the segment injection holes under high pressure, adjustable from 0 to 10 MPa.

Core applications in tunnel construction:
1. Segment backfill grouting (primary application): Immediately after the concrete segments are assembled by the tunnel boring machine (TBM), grout is injected into the annular gaps on the outer side of the segments to fill voids, fix the lining, evenly transfer ground pressure, and control surface settlement;
2. Water plugging and seepage prevention: Seals seepage in the surrounding rock to prevent groundwater from seeping into the tunnel;
3. Ground reinforcement: Fills and consolidates soil in weak surrounding rock areas to improve the overall stability of the tunnel.

This grout plant features an integrated skid-mounted structure, compact size, and can move within the tunnel with the TBM trolley. We offer both electric and diesel drive options, and the hydraulic pump pressure and flow are infinitely adjustable for continuous grout supply, making it suitable for TBM synchronous uninterrupted grouting construction.
