The refractory material mixer is designed for the efficient preparation of refractory castables, mortar, furnace lining compounds and other dense industrial mixtures. Its intensive mixing action combines aggregates, binders, fine powders, water and additives into a consistent batch ready for installation.
During operation, the mixing blades continuously move material through different areas of the chamber. This repeated lifting, folding and shearing action helps break apart dry clusters and improves the distribution of moisture throughout the mixture.
The mixing chamber can be protected by replaceable wear-resistant liners, while reinforced mixing arms and blades are designed for frequent processing of abrasive refractory aggregates. A controlled water-feeding system can also be added to help operators follow the required material formulation.
Depending on the construction method, the finished refractory mixture can be discharged for casting, pumping, wet spraying, manual placement or precast production. Stationary, mobile and skid-mounted machine configurations are available for workshops and job sites.
