Heavy Duty Peristaltic Pump

Heavy Duty Peristaltic Hose Pump operates as a positive displacement pump, where the pumping action is driven by pressing shoes that alternately compress and release a specialized hose. During compression, the fluid is forced out of the hose toward the discharge side. As the shoe retracts, the hose elastically rebounds, creating a vacuum that draws fresh fluid in from the suction inlet. Because the pressing shoe achieves near-complete (100%) occlusion of the hose cross-section, the pump delivers highly accurate metering and reliable pressure performance. Since the conveyed medium only ever touches the interior of the hose, no mechanical seals are required.

Heavy Duty Peristaltic Pump Features:

  • Fully Adjustable Flow & Power, Low Energy Consumption
Flow rate is precisely controlled via variable-speed drive, allowing you to match output exactly to process demand. Power consumption scales linearly with flow — no wasted energy. Compared to centrifugal or diaphragm pumps, energy savings of 20–40% are typical, especially at partial load.
  • Dry-Run Capable, Self-Priming Suction Lift up to 9.5 m
Since the only wetted part is the hose, the pump can run indefinitely without fluid — no overheating, no damage. The 100% hose occlusion creates a strong vacuum, enabling self-priming suction lift of up to 9.5 m (31 ft), eliminating the need for external priming equipment in most installations.
  • Stable Flow Rate, Accurate & Repeatable Metering
The pressing shoe achieves near-100% hose occlusion with every stroke, ensuring a fixed, known displacement per revolution. This delivers metering accuracy of ±0.5–1% with excellent repeatability — ideal for chemical dosing, additive injection, and batch-critical processes where consistency matters.
  • Handles High-Viscosity & High-Solid-Content Media with Ease
Unlike rotor or piston pumps, there are no tight clearances to clog. The hose bore acts as the only flow path, allowing passage of solids up to ~40% of the tube inner diameter. Viscosities from water-thin to >1,000,000 cP (e.g., heavy sludges, pastes, concrete) are handled without performance loss.
  • Shear-Sensitive Media Friendly
There is no high-speed rotor, stator, or piston creating shear zones. The fluid moves gently through the hose at low velocity, preserving the integrity of fragile products such as polymers, emulsions, latex, flocculants, food products, and biological media.
  • Zero-Seal, Zero-Valve, Zero-Maintenance Design
The pump contains no mechanical seals, no check valves, no diaphragms, no immersed rotors, no stators, and no pistons. The hose is the only component that contacts the fluid — simply replace the hose when worn. This means zero leakage risk, zero cross-contamination, and minimal downtime.
